Welcome to our history, from 1819 when John Farrer first opened his doors to Kendal townsfolk to the present day. We would like to share with you the wonders of our treasured business.

On the day itself you will be guided through our doors and experience the awe of our state of the art roastery. You will learn all about how the coffee is grown, processed, decaffeinated and harvested. Experience the magic of the roaster and see how green coffee is carefully taken through its journey into beautifully roasted beans.

Let us tell you about different brewing methods, indulge your senses when cupping coffees from around the world and create a personal blend to take home and enjoy.

With an estimated 98 million cups consumed daily in the UK, you can come along with us & find out about the amazing journey that takes place from the bean to our cup!

Delivery is always as stated, on time, carefully packed, and with useful tracking. I have been drinking Lakeland tea for a long time; I find it very tasty and refreshing with no bitter aftertaste; it has been given positive comments by friends as family. I love the choice of coffee; I have tried several types and really enjoy their Westmorland blend, but always have a selection. Farrers also offers a wonderful range of fruity tissane which are equally refreshing hot or cold. I would always recommend Farrers to anyone who loves quality tea and coffee.
