Blendsmiths’ traditional hand-carved matcha scoop is crafted from strong, durable bamboo and designed to help you portion matcha accurately every time. One heaped scoop measures approximately 1 gram, making it an easy, reliable tool for consistent matcha preparation at home.

Care Instructions

Soak the whisk in cold water for 2 minutes before its first use. Rinse and wipe the scoop after each use, then carefully pat it dry before storing away. Avoid leaving it wet, as prolonged moisture can cause damage.

Make Matcha in Three Simple Steps

Use your Blendsmiths bowl, whisk and scoop to whip up smooth, frothy matcha at home in moments.

Prep your bowl & whisk

Warm the ceramic matcha bowl with a little hot water, then discard. Soak the bamboo whisk in warm water for 1–2 minutes to soften the bristles.

Measure & add water

Use the bamboo scoop to add 1–2 scoops of matcha to the bowl, then pour in a small amount of hot (not boiling) water – about 60–80 ml at 70–80°C.

Whisk, serve & enjoy

Whisk briskly in a W or M motion until smooth and frothy. Drink straight from the bowl as traditional matcha, or pour into a cup and top with hot water or milk for a matcha latte.
